Instructor : Ann Starkey
Certified instructor trained in the UK by the founder of Powerchi. Powerchi Yoga is a combination of Tai chi and yoga  which can open up tremendous opportunities for personal growth and it is this which she passes on to her students. The idea of inner strength and power which is inherent in all of us and only needs tapping into.  Having spent most of her working life in a UN organization Ann is now following her true calling. Always being fascinated by the idea of energy, energy blocks and alternative therapies she became interested in yoga at the age of 16.
On coming to Geneva she studied the TKV Desikachar method:  the realisation that we are body, mind and more, not just the concept of standing-on-your-head yoga but concerned with the way we live our life in the world and our understanding of ourselves and how to better our relationships.
With this concept in mind she also studied deep-tissue massage (how the emotions affect the body) and did an in-depth study of intuition and is now certified as an intuitive reader and an NLP graduate.
